Jiangxi Yongxing Special Steel New Energy Technology Co., LTD. (referred to as "Yongxing New Energy" or “the company”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of listed Yongxing Materials (stock code: 002756), located in Yifeng County, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province of China, also known as the "Lithium Capital of Asia".  Currently, we have finalized plans on lithium mine selection, mining, and beneficiation down to battery-grade lithium carbonate production.  We have selected a lithium mica (lepidolite) mining area in Jiangxi’s Yifeng county and built the required mineral processing facilities, securing raw materials supply for our battery grade lithium carbonate production and ensuring that our products will be cost competitive in the future market.

We have invested and begun construction on a battery-grade lithium carbonate project with a total annual capacity of 30,000 tons. Phase I of the project began producing in late 2019, with 10,000 tons/year capacity battery grade lithium carbonate and a supporting beneficiation plant with a capacity of 1.2 million tons/year for the efficient utilization of lithium ore; Phase II will include a battery grade lithium carbonate production line with 20,000 tons/year capacity, a supporting beneficiation plant with 1.8 million tons/year capacity, and an R&D project on the comprehensive value improvement of lithium ore resources, and the technological upgrade and expansion of the Baishi-Huashan Mine to produce 3 million tons/year of lithium ore.  The first production line in Phase II has begun operations in Q1 2022, while the second production line is expected to come online in Q2 2022.
